Giving Back Spotlight: 4 Organizations and the TGRP Employees Who Support Them

December 16, 2025

Giving back is a year-round effort here at TGRP Solutions, and we love celebrating the ways our employees get involved in causes that matter to them. As we wind down 2025 and head into the holiday season, we’re featuring four amazing nonprofits and the TGRP team members who have lent their time and talents to make a difference in their communities.

Keep reading to learn more about these incredible organizations and how some very passionate people here at TGRP have contributed to their missions:

Hope House Colorado | Debbie Misrack

Hope House Colorado is dedicated to empowering parenting teen moms to strive for personal and economic self-sufficiency and to understand their significance in God’s sight, resulting in a healthy future for them and for their children. The organization offers a resource center in Arvada that serves over 250 young mothers from across the Denver metro area. With a focus on education, career development, and family support, the organization has an early learning center, residential program, and mentorship opportunities. Their goal is to help young mothers break the cycle of poverty and build brighter, more self-sufficient futures.

In July 2025, Hope House Colorado hosted its 20th Annual Joe Coors Hope House Golf Classic at Sanctuary, a course open only by invitation or for select charity events. TGRP Consulting Director Debbie Misrack has been involved with Hope House Colorado since 2014 as a development committee member and joined the board of directors in September 2025. She sponsors the Golf Classic nearly every year and offered the foursome to TGRP Solutions Founder and President Mark Reister, Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships Ken Bardsley, a client from iBotta Inc. and Mark’s father, Ken. Debbie also sponsors a table at the Hope House Gala.

“I have a passion for empowering women, and I love what Hope House Colorado represents for the future,” says Debbie. “I’m touched seeing young women improve their lives for themselves and their children, despite coming from difficult backgrounds.” Working for a company that values philanthropy means a lot to Debbie. “TGRP contributed generously to Hope House Colorado, but it’s not the only organization they support. Mark cares about giving back to the community. That makes TGRP stand out from other companies.”

Colorado UpLift | Doug Nassif

Colorado UpLift connects Denver and Aurora Public Schools students with caring adults who guide them through life challenges, support them in high school completion and college pursuit, and help them reach their potential. Its in-school, after-school, and adventure-based programs develop students’ character and leadership skills.

Thanks to Director of Placement and Contract Solutions Doug Nassif, TGRP has supported Colorado UpLift for several years. In October 2025, TGRP was a sponsor for the Tee Up for UpLift tournament at Cherry Creek Country Club, which helped raise $125,000 for the organization. In November, Doug, Mark, and TGRP Recruiter Miguel Torres took part in UpLift Career Day at Lake Middle School in Denver, sharing insights on careers in accounting, finance, and consulting.

“My wife and I have supported Colorado UpLift for several years and participated in their mentorship program and other events,” says Doug. “This organization is deeply committed to putting young people on better paths and helping them create lasting changes for themselves, their families, and their communities. I’m always glad to involve others—you never know what kind of impact you might have when you introduce someone to positive mentors and opportunities.”

Easterseals Camp and Denver Children’s Foundation | Chad Huggins

Easterseals is a nonprofit providing disability and community services to children, adults, and their families—from early childhood programs to autism services and beyond. Since 2010, TGRP Director Chad Huggins has volunteered at the Easterseals Camp at YMCA Camp Oakes in Big Bear, California, every summer. He guides campers with disabilities (ages 14+) through a life-changing week of hiking, swimming, canoeing, archery, storytelling, dancing, and more.

“My roommate in college invited me to do this camp with him, and I’ve been going ever since,” says Chad. “It’s the best week of my year helping people enjoy this traditional camp experience. I leave every year with a better, healthier perspective on life. The campers are joyful and have the best attitudes, and I’m so inspired by them.”

Chad is also an alumnus of Denver Children’s Foundation (formerly Denver Active 20-30). The foundation develops philanthropic leaders ages 20 to 39 who mobilize the community to impact the lives of disadvantaged children through fundraising events and projects. DCF focuses on education, health and well-being, child advocacy, and enrichment. Chad was involved with DCF for 12 years.

Denver Parks & Recreation’s Adaptive Recreation Programs/Special Olympics Colorado | Steve Swain

Denver Parks & Recreation’s Adaptive Recreation programs provide year-round recreational and therapeutic activities for people with disabilities. Working closely with Special Olympics Colorado, they provide training and competition in Olympic‑style sports, helping children and adult participants build skills, confidence, and lasting friendships in an inclusive community.

TGRP Practice Director Steve Swain has volunteered with Adaptive Recreation—where his wife is a recreational therapist—since 2005. He serves as a partner athlete and coach in the Unified softball league, which culminates in Special Olympics regional and state championships. Over the last two years, Steve has also teamed up with an athlete—who was born blind—in the adaptive ski and Unified cycling programs.

“He’s highly competitive and so am I, so we have a blast trying to beat as many teams as we can on our tandem bike,” says Steve. The pair earned third place overall at last year’s Special Olympics Colorado Summer Games, finishing ahead of racers on single bikes. “I love being involved with this program. The people are awesome, and we’re out there laughing, enjoying sports and the outdoors, and just having a great time. It’s truly rewarding to be a part of.”

Giving Back, Together

At TGRP Solutions, we believe that gratitude grows when it’s shared. Supporting organizations that strengthen our community is part of who we are, and we’re proud of the people on our team who give their time, talents, and hearts to causes they care about. We look forward to continuing this work and sharing more about it.

Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful, joyful holiday season. Happy holidays from TGRP!
