Sharon Calanni, CPA

Sharon Calanni is a Consulting Director at TGRP Solutions and has over 20 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry.  She is an active CPA in the state of Colorado and has both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, and a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.  Sharon started her career in public accounting at KPMG, and then moved into the private sector gaining experience working primarily in medium and large corporate environments.  She is a motivated, approachable, and empathetic leader with excellent communication skills and professionalism.  Her areas of interest and expertise include process improvement, month-end close, financial statement preparation, consolidation, reconciliations, external audits, system implementations, financial analysis, GAAP accounting, management of team members, and SOX Compliance.  While detail oriented, Sharon has the aptitude for seeing ‘the big picture’, learning quickly, and maintaining positive and respectful working relationships.  Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends (she is married with 2 daughters), skiing, biking, and running with her family’s 85 lb. dog Ozzie.
