ABOUT Kirk
Kirk is a Practice Director for TGRP Solutions’ Consulting Services, with responsibility for providing high-level technical accounting and financial reporting services, overseeing service delivery and driving business development through the creation and fostering of trusted client relationships.
As a former two-time CFO and seasoned consultant, Kirk brings over 35 years of practical, hands-on experience in the areas of public and private company reporting, M&A support, accounting organization leadership and investor communications. Having begun his career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Houston, Kirk relocated to Denver in the early 1990s where he steadily progressed through the ranks of financial leadership with companies such as Sports Authority and American Eagle Energy, among others. His diverse industry experience includes Oil & Gas, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Professional Services, as well as time spent working in the non-profit sector. He is a well-known and respected member of the Denver accounting and finance community, having provided consulting services to many of Denver’s marquis companies throughout the years.
Kirk is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from the University of Nebraska. A self-described adrenaline junky, he is happily married and a proud father of four who enjoys spending time with his family, leading global missions trips, attending live music performances, racing, golfing and spending time on two wheels (both road biking and riding his motorcycle).
