Meet Alyssa Krebs, Office Administrator

September 6, 2022

She’s the newest addition to the TGRP Solutions team, and one of the Mile High City’s newer residents too. Meet our chaos coordinator, a.k.a. Alyssa, TGRP’s office administrator, who joined the team in August 2022. Learn what brought her to Colorado, what she loves about her new surroundings, and what led her to this exciting adventure.

Where are you from originally?

Redwood City, CA

Ever lived anywhere but California?

I went to the University of Arizona for college for two years, then transferred to the University of San Francisco (USF). Other than Arizona, California has always been home.

When did you move to Denver?

July 2022

What’s your pre-TGRP professional background?

I got my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2011 from USF. During college, I was a nanny for a family, and the woman who I worked for owned a dermatology practice. When I graduated, I was hired to be the office manager, and I stayed there for almost seven years. After that, I took a position as an administrative assistant for a commercial real estate company in San Francisco.

How did you wind up moving to Denver?

I have three sisters, and a couple years ago, one of them married and moved to Indiana. My parents followed her there a year later. Then, one of my sisters (who went to CU Boulder) and my other sister both moved to Denver. So, it was a good time to move, and my boyfriend and I decided Colorado and living near the mountains would be a great change.

First impressions?

I love Colorado and I am really appreciating the changing seasons.

How did you come to TGRP?

When I knew we were moving, I started looking around and came across the job posting at TGRP Solutions for an office administrator. I applied and had my first interview over Zoom and then met the team in person once we were in Denver. I could tell this is a close-knit group and a really good place to work with room to grow and learn. The recruiting industry is new to me but I like learning about it.

Is this move a pretty big adventure?

Yes! I’m passionate about life experiences, and I’d say moving here is one of the biggest experiences I’ve had yet.

What’s your silly-but-real job title?

Director Of First Impressions

What makes you good at your job?

I’m very detail-oriented and I do not procrastinate. If someone gives me a project, I do it, and I do it well.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher. I grew up in a bigger family and I really like kids.

Any guilty pleasures?

I’d have to say watching the Real Housewives!

Who do you admire most in your life?

My father. He is a man of all trades. He raised a family, and has done everything for his daughters and loved us well.

Little-known facts about Alyssa?

I grew up playing softball. I’m a picky eater but I love food and trying new restaurants.

If you had ended up doing anything else for your career, what might that have been?

I thought about becoming a real estate agent in California and studied for the test to do so. I love everything about houses.

Favorite place to be?

Anywhere outside or by water—the ocean, a lake, even a pool. And honestly, I love my bed!

How would friends and family describe you?

Probably fun, social, caring and outgoing.

Words to live by?

Live every day to the fullest. You only live once.

Where do you predict TGRP will be 5-10 years from now?

TGRP is growing and I think we’ll have a very strong presence here in Denver.
